## What the service is

Expat Pocket offers community, listings, discovery, assistant tools, and related features for expat life in the UAE. The service is provided as-is and continues to evolve; features may be added, changed, or discontinued.

## Account

You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your account secure. Do not share your account. Notify us if you suspect a security breach.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms. We aim to communicate decisions with a clear reason when possible.

## User content

You are responsible for listings, messages, media, and text you post. Content that violates law, third-party rights, or our community guidelines is prohibited.

You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, moderate, and secure your content to operate the service. Ownership remains with you.

## Listings and transactions

Listings are between users. Expat Pocket is not a party to buy/sell, rental, or service contracts. Use common sense and official channels against fraud.

If paid features or ads are offered, price, duration, and cancellation terms are shown in the relevant flow.

## Prohibited conduct

Illegal activity, harassment, hate, spam, identity theft, unauthorized system access, reverse engineering (except where law allows), bots/scraping that overload the service, and misleading listings or identity are prohibited.

## Intellectual property

The Expat Pocket brand, interface, software, and original content belong to us. Unauthorized copying, brand use, or derivative products are not allowed.

## Limitation of liability

We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, or third-party disputes.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

## Termination

You may close your account at any time. We may end access for breaches of these terms or if the service is discontinued. Surviving clauses (IP, liability, disputes) remain after termination.

## Governing law

Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, these terms are interpreted under UAE law. We first seek good-faith resolution of disputes.
