Sponsor parents UAE residence visa: Dubai's separate file
A Dubai resident sponsors parents on a separate GDRFA residence service, not on a spouse visa. The published line is AED 10,000, an attested tenancy suitable for the household, three months of bank statements, and a one-year renewable permit.
Sponsor parents UAE residence visa is a residence permit for a parent, not a visit and not an extra name on a spouse or child visa. In Dubai the published route is GDRFA's family-sponsorship service. A resident who already holds a valid UAE residence permit can sponsor both parents, and parents-in-law, for their own one-year permit. That permit can be renewed.

Parents in Dubai are a residence file of their own. They are not a spare line on a spouse visa.
Salary, term, and fees below are from sponsoring your parents on a Dubai residence visa. The ordinary dependent list is the residence visa for family members on u.ae. The two lists are not one rule.
Parents are not on the ordinary family list
u.ae and ICP describe the usual family residence visa as a spouse, unmarried daughters, sons under 25, and children with special needs. Daughters on that list have no age cap. Sons are under 25. Parents are not named.
The income test on that route is AED 4,000 a month, or AED 3,000 plus accommodation. We do not move those figures onto a parent file. A wife, a husband, or children belong on sponsor a spouse and children.
General provisions for the residence visa say a working family member can sponsor a spouse, children, or parents. Parents are named there, and they are still absent from the ordinary list. Do not flatten that into "parents are banned" or "parents share the spouse visa."
Green Residence is the wider right on the ICP residence-permit service. Holders may sponsor first-degree relatives, a category that covers parents. The note does not mention parents-in-law. Standard holders do not get that right on the general dependent route.
The Green summary asks for proof of kinship, adequate housing matched to the sponsor's permit, and the standard minimum income requirements for dependent sponsorship. It prints no dirham figure. Golden Residence is not given that first-degree line.
What the Dubai parent service asks you to show
The GDRFA sponsor is a Dubai resident with a valid UAE residence permit. The service covers both parents and parents-in-law. The one-year renewable term is on this Dubai card, not stated here as a rule for every emirate.
Show a salary certificate in government, or an employment contract in the private sector, at AED 10,000 a month. The same service counts basic pay together with housing and transport allowances.
A partner or investor submits the trade license and the partners' annex instead. That swap is not described as a waiver of the AED 10,000 test.
Housing is an attested Ejari tenancy, suitable or sized for the number of family members. No bedroom count is published, including for a one-bedroom. Attestation steps are in MOFA attestation for UAE documents. This summary names neither a birth certificate nor a marriage certificate.
Bank statements cover the last three months. File on the smart-services portal with UAE Pass, or at an Amer service centre.
Fees, the guarantee, and the 14-day target
Government fees on the Dubai service run about AED 740.

Once the residency exceeds two years, the fees rise by AED 100 a year.
On top of the fees, a refundable guarantee of AED 5,000 applies per sponsored person, capped at AED 15,000. A Golden Visa note calls that sum a per-parent deposit, with no different amount.
The published processing target is 14 days. A target is not a statement that every file finishes in that time.
What not to copy onto a parent file
A Golden Visa does not include parents by itself. In Dubai that request uses the same GDRFA parent service: the AED 10,000 line, suitable housing, and the per-parent deposit. ICP keeps Golden Residence in a separate category from the Green first-degree right.
Spouse and children notes add a medical fitness test at 18 or above, a permit that cannot outlast the sponsor, and filing windows after entry. Those sentences are not in the parent summary. If the live parent card lists a medical step or an entry permit, follow the card.

Before you pay, set the AED 10,000 salary paper and the attested tenancy beside the live Dubai card. Do not file parents on the spouse list by habit.
